Welcome to Photos By August Van.
Hello! I’m August Van Rynsoever, aka August Van. I appreciate the small things: the way the sunlight hits and reflects the world around us, family and friends, photography and most of all my kids. My home base is Lancaster South Carolina, but I often travel throughout the southeast to document important life events. Thank you for visiting the site and considering me. It would be a privilege to work with you!
Some highlights of my photography experience:
- 1998 graduate of the Brooks Institute of Photography.
- Business Owner for 4 years – since early 2008 in Ventura, California and more recently Lancaster, South Carolina.
- Relevant other experience: photo lab management, photo album designer, photo editor, photo restoration. Also, worked with very well known photographers Elizabeth Messina, Megan Sorel and Frame Thirty-Six.
Specialties include: Wedding Photography, Family Portraits, Commercial Photography and Boudoir Photography.
